I have over 30 years of post qualification experience in the service and in managing accounts and financial planning for businesses and am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA / CGMA). I currently advise companies in both the private and public sectors how to run and manage effective education and training within their organisations. Alongside this, I teach psychology and strategies for better mental health. I aim is to equip GPs with skills that enable them to offer alternatives to CBT and drug treatments for mental health problems. Outside the medical sector, I focus on ways to combat anxiety, depression and insomnia, in both children and adults. I am especially interested in the approaches of Positive psychology, Solution-focused therapy and the Human Givens approach to psychotherapy. Bilingual in French and fluent in German, I am able to teach in either of these languages, as well as in English.
